Through extensive interpretation of the feedback our clients have provided us, we have created five new APIs that are available starting today through Experian’s API Hub. Consumer Credit Profile V2
Second in series to our first consumer credit profile API. The JSON structure within this new tool follows standard API conducts. If you have consumed multiple APIs before, you will be familiar with the standardized input/output structure.
Extended View Score Only
This new API was developed to retrieve a credit profile with scores and add-ons requested. If we are unable to pull up an Experian credit report for the client, then we will automatically waterfall to Extended View, and return the Extended View score to the client.
Extended View Attributes Only
This API tool allows you to retrieve a credit profile with scores and add-ons requested. If we are unable to retrieve an Experian credit report for a consumer, then we will automatically waterfall to Extendid View, and return the Extended View Attributes to the consumer.
Extended View Attributes and Score
While using this API tool, a credit profile with scores and add-ons requested will be retrieved. If we are unable to return a credit report from Experian, then we will automatically waterfall to Extended View, and return both the Extended View Attributes and Score to the consumer.
Standard Prequalification
This API is a solution for organizations who require credit report data, but have no use for customization or hosting through Experian. Through your existing connection with Experian, this API will return a full credit report. If requested, the Standard Prequalification API will also return generic score(s). Through this process, you can utilize the credit data to make a decision on which credit options should be offered to the consumer.
